Yet, it sneaks into odd corners—like in "When I Left Cuba", where it’s someone helping with a doctoral thesis without being a tutor. A behind-the-scenes assistant, maybe? Think of it as a "ghostwriter" in a figurative sense. Quite the surprise!
But in the land of miracle therapies and personal growth, "consultante" takes on a different vibe. It’s the go-to label some dubious practitioners slap on their potential clients. Why not just say "clients"? Because that sounds too businesslike. And "friends" might hint at no payment involved. With "consultante," the help seems to come first, payment later. Altruism or a slick sales trick?
A Translation Mix-Up or a Trendy Twist?
Some guess "consultante" might be a mangled take on "consultant" from English or French—words that sound sleek and sophisticated. But when forced into Spanish, it lands awkwardly, feeling a bit absurd. In English, we’ll keep it as "consultante" (in quotes) since it’s not quite "consultant"—it’s more of a buzzword with a whiff of nonsense. Others even call them "patients," as if we’re all unlicensed healers waiting to fix ourselves.
In the real world—like the gritty "Malchut" of Kabbalah—things are straightforward: if you’re paying for a service, you’re a client, not a "consultante." Accounting agrees—there’s no "consultantes" line in global standards (GAAP). So, if someone dubs you a "consultante," watch out: it could be a red flag for opportunism wrapped in spiritual fluff.
The Spiritual Link: Blood, Kabbalah, and Transformation
